This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

At-Home Learning through e-Classrooms and a Virtual Google Meets 90 mins each class all day. It has hit these young students, and I quite a bit differently than others dealing with COVID 19. As I approach the 2nd Semester of Distant Virtual at Home Learning and Working at a G.L.O.B.A.L. school, I need to provide these young developing minds with all the resources they should have. Unfortunately they still do not have full access, with testing just around the corner.

My students are 99% English language learners and all receive Free lunch.

They took there exams in their 1st language and now everything is in English and they are struggling readers that are compassionate and caring. Just issuing each a personal copy of Hidden Figures from another project had their eyes illuminated with excitement.

They are remaining at home to ensure their safety and longevity of life while trying to be educated through this pandemic at a crucial year of life 7th-grade. The Summer Programs for the district offered so much for the students, yet there has been zero support at all for the materials to be available to the students at home and allow them to achieve same level.

My Project

My district NO longer provides us with Personal Protective Equipment and we are in dire need of UV Sanitization Cases for materials that are needed in classes for students or have to go home with students to learn but MUST be returned to school due to the cost and NOT being able to provide one for each student.

Gloves will serve as disposable PPE for cleaning their desk and chairs with Myers Spray, Lysol and Clorox wipes as they have to rotate classes and seat in the desk where another student has sat in the prior classes.

High Demand for quality Recorded lessons due to COVID and the HIGH number of students that are learning Virtual demands the need for better lighting eye-level contact for the computer or recording devices. The ability to cover multiple angles for the Need to reference the Learning Activity, the Monitor that is projecting the Lesson, Anchor Charts, a student in the class to foster and encourage collaborative learning with the Virtual Learners requires this Roling multi-angle recording table. Due to the multiple device connections and the lighten connection ALL in one moveable location. It will allow for students to be recorded in class for at-home learning.
