This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are serious computer scientists in the making! My Mobile Apps students are highly motivated and passionate about technology. In our class, we learn by doing and experimenting with code. Programming can be frustrating, however, we fine-tune our skills with every "bug" in our program. We are learning useful skills to make us well-rounded technologists.

We are on our way to getting certified as Microsoft Office Specialists; 75% of those who took all three tests in our last cohort reached this goal.

We are getting job-ready and preparing to be leaders that will make tomorrow a better place to live.

My Project

Given the global health problem Coronavirus has provoked, I am putting this project together to request cleaning materials and items to keep our student clean and healthy as we manage this precarious situation.

While schools are shut down and as we move into re-opening, we are in urgent need of these materials to help with the control of the virus.

Our classroom needs to be thoroughly disinfected and ready with supplies on hand to continue to maintain a clean and sanitary learning environment for our students upon their return. The cleaning supplies that were requested will be used in our computer lab to disinfect more regularly.
