This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At Navarro Middle School, we are dedicated to providing effective therapeutic support for our students. One of the valuable tools we use in counseling sessions is sandtray therapy, which allows individuals to express emotions and process experiences in a creative way. To enhance this program, we are seeking donations to help supply our sandtray therapy space with essential materials.

Sandtray therapy has been shown to offer numerous benefits, including:

Encouraging emotional expression and communication

Reducing anxiety and stress

Enhancing problem-solving and coping skills

Providing a safe space for trauma processing

Promoting self-awareness and personal growth

Your generosity will help us create a supportive and enriching environment for students to explore their thoughts and emotions in a safe and constructive way.
