My Project

It's the beginning of the school year and my incoming kindergartners are SO excited! One of the highlights of our Purposeful Playtime is playing and exploring in the sand and water table. Unfortunately, our table is so old that it doesn't hold water any more. It's time for an upgrade.

With this grant, we will have a new sand and water table for kids to explore in.

Not only is this a sensory experience, but it's a great place for kids to work on their social/emotional learning, sharing, and a lot of math as kids measure, compare, and even build 3-D shapes with kinetic sand.

In addition to the table, we are also asking to replenish our kinetic sand supply. Kinetic sand is one of those things that is hard to have in a house with carpets, but we will happily provide in kindergarten.
