My Students

Did you ever feel unsafe in a science class? Was your lab experiment ever canceled because of the lack of necessary safety materials? That's the situation my students are in.

I teach science at a science oriented charter school.

Due to lack of funds, we don't have everything necessary for our science classes. The most important materials that we are missing are safety materials. My students are eager to do lab experiments in both of my biology and chemistry classes. But, they need to be safe while learning through the hands-on activities and experiments.

My Project

For both biology and chemistry students, we need safety goggles. They will protect my students' eyes from any chemical splashes or flying particles. My students also need lab aprons that will protect their clothes and their skin from any chemicals. We also need an eye wash station in case anything gets in my students eyes. We also need a fire blanket for any fire emergency in the chemistry class. We need gloves to protect my students' hands from chemicals in chemistry class as well as contaminants in biology class.

Your donation to this project is at utmost importance for my students to have a safe science class and have fun learning about chemistry and biology with hands-on activities and experiments.

The materials that we will get through this project will continue keeping my classroom safe for future years. So, your donation will touch the learning environment of many more students in coming years. Thank you for your generous donations.
