This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is made up of energetic and eager students! The school is a Title 1 school with over 74% of our students that are multilingual learners. Over the years, we have had situations that required our students and/or teachers to need a wheelchair. Our current school wheelchair has aged considerably and is not easy to maneuver.

The students at my school would greatly benefit from a new wheelchair!

In situations that require the use of a wheelchair, we want to ensure that the students are safe and comfortable during this time. As we all know, anything of this nature can be stressful. Our hope is to make it as comfortable as we can for everyone involved. In addition, we need something that is reliable and easy to use. Please consider donating to this project. Our students deserve the best that we can offer!

My Project

This wheelchair that was chosen for this project will provide the students at our school a safe, reliable, and comfortable option in the event that a wheelchair is needed. Our current wheelchair is very old and its reliability is questionable. There have been many situations, for both students and adults, that a reliable wheelchair was necessary.

This wheelchair would be a valuable asset to the well-being of our students and staff. By donating to this project, you would provide our school with not only a wheelchair, but a sense of security.
