Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We have a range of children from grades Pre-k through 5th grade, who have gone through so many things in their lives, but their resilience is remarkable.

They always have a smile on their faces and are always eager to learn.

In September, we will be having our "Home Coming" and welcoming ALL of our children back into the school building.

We need durable electronic thermometers to help us with our daily screenin process.

My Project

When our children come in they will go to sanitize their hands, take their temperature and reunite with their peers.

This has been an unpresidented time for our children, we just want them to see that we were ready for them to come back, with updated equipment.

The thermometers that we currently have, often give wrong temperatures.

Taking temperatures could turn into a learning experience, we can teach these young scholars to convert temperatures from fahrenheit to celcius.

To implement this type of conversion lesson we shold have accurate equipment.
