My Students
My students are active, vibrant and eager to learn. Our school services students from low income households which is located in the East New York section of Brooklyn. At our school we lack the resources needed to help keep us safe this school year while in the building. This year, due to the COVID pandemic students will have to adapt to a different style of learning. My students and myself are in need of PPE equipment to keep us safe during these trying times. The economy has put a strain on some of our parents and I would like to take some of the stress out of their day by providing the with notebooks and folders.
My Project
We are at the start of a new school year. For us that are returning to the classroom we are all returning to the unknown. Due to the impact that Covid 19 has had on us and still is effecting us in many ways, we are lacking safety and classroom materials. We are in need of hand sanitizer, mask, and paper towels to help keep everyone safe within the classroom. Notebooks and folders are needed to ease the burden of the parents that are going through difficult financial times at the moment.
