Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

During these unprecedented times, our students have made major strides to fully participate in online learning. The first challenge to hurdle was to provide resources. What you and I may consider a necessity like wifi and technology is really a luxury for my students. Located in the heart of the South Bronx, very few students have those resources available.

My Project

As we jump into the year of the unknown, It is extremely important for me to make sure my students feel safe within the classroom. While some may take these personal protective items for granted, these are luxury items for many.

Let's protect these children's health!

Please help me provide PPE for my students so they don't have to worry about coming to school and feeling unsafe. Their only concern should be learning!

With face shields specifically, my students will be able to enjoy their in-class lunch period while still remaining safe!
