My Students

Our classroom consists of 23 boys and girls who are eager, energetic, and excited to learn! My students come from various ethnic backgrounds. They come into the classroom every morning with smiles on their faces and are a huge reminder to me of why I do what I do! They have a wide array of learning styles that I explore.

They continue to surprise and challenge me every day.

I am an enthusiastic, nurturing, devoted, and creative teacher who enjoys working with children and helping them reach for their dreams through education.

My Project

Safety, security and structure are critical to my students success. The emotional goal of this project is for students to feel secure in this new COVID-19 world, by having hand sanitizer and clean air.

This project will hopefully provide my students a sense of safety and security to be able to come to school and learn each and every day!

My students will participate in making their own sanitizer and will enjoy using isopropyl alcohol, aloe vera gel and essential oils to make their own hand sanitizer while also learning about science safety, the importance of measuring accurately and using science equipment the proper way!

The well being of every child that is entrusted to me is my main concern during this pandemic. I want to go above and beyond in creating a safe place for them to learn. The touchless hand sanitizer dispensers are my way of going that extra step to avoid contact on items.
