My Project

My students participate in a vocational work-based learning program called Office 811Q where they are learning employability skills related to office work. They learn it all - from photocopying and laminating to taking lunch orders and cleaning/maintenance!

Having the HTVRONT Auto Heat Press Machine will allow for students, who would not otherwise be able to physically handle the demands of a non-automated heat press, to safely operate a heat press.

Students are learning to count, sort, sequence, create, and create designs to be heat pressed on clothing and textiles. They have supervised peer to peer training from another class which provides opportunity for collaboration and appropriate work place environment interactions.

It is so rewarding to see their faces upon completing a project for their school events where they see fellow students and faculty wearing or displaying their creations!
