Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting Halloween goodie bags, party favors, stickers, candy, and Halloween party supplies for our annual Trunk or Treat celebration. This will give students a healthy and safe Halloween option. Each scholar will be able to trick or treat the trunks of staff members to get candy, treats, books, and more. This will be a fun event rewarding scholars for their hard work that they will remember for years to come. We will tie it into STEM and learning about environmental studies. Thank you so much for donating to our school and for making this event a very successful one. This will truly be fun for all. You rock!

Students will be using this in collaboration with our daily STEM block to see who can build the tallest structure.

This will help engage my students during our hands-on math block, reading literature with spooky stories, and our SEL periods each week. Students will use the materials during our Halloween/ Fall celebrations to build towers, structures and simply just be kids. This will help boost their confidence and self-esteem while learning about the environment, the climate during our fall season and while having fun! We will use the stickers to create our buildings, the treats to help build the inside of our structure, and the goodie bags for students to take home their rewards in grades 3-5.
