Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the afternoon there at times last minute transportation changes. As staff on duty we must locate these students and notify them of the change. We have our students in separate areas to help reduce close proximity which makes it difficult for the staff to locate these students. There are also multiple staff located around these areas and can sometimes cause confusion.

We want to ensure that the students get to the correct area for dismissal!

With this speaker the students will be able to hear any updates without being worrisome during what could already be an anxious time. The wipe off magnets and markers will allow a staff member to write the changes down. This will be a great visual for staff and students so on the way out we can ensure everyone is directed to the correct bus.

We also could use this speaker at other moments such as recess, field days etc. for karaoke or poems, written word etc. This would help the students boost their confidence and have fun while getting used to the new machine!
