Help me give my students ways to engage in their learning with tools that they won't have to share in the fall. The pencil boxes will keep each student's supplies in their own personal space.
My school is a Title I school. We have many students in low-income homes. In the fall, when students should be able to return to full in-person school, the families may not be able to purchase enough items for each of the classrooms that they need to go into. For example, my ELD students won't be able to carry their supplies from their classroom to mine. I will need to have their supplies individualized for them to use and not have to transfer supplies from room to room.
My Project
In order to keep supplies from being shared, my ELD students will need their own markers, pencil boxes, and a way to clean off their own whiteboards. This project will help the 45 kids in my program. Due to COVID, students who come to me in person next year, won't be able to bring their supplies from their classrooms into mine. I will need to have individual resources and supplies for them to use when they are with me. These items will help us keep them safe and allow them to keep what they use to themselves.
