My Project

Not every child has a chance to sit down somewhere comfortable and read a book. Since day one, I've been scouring the net for books and furniture to create a comfortable safe space for students to read. I've poured money into eBay bids for a library for my students. However, there's only so much I can find.

My kids have never complained about what I've been able to bring in.

They were so excited when I found a raggedy secondhand rug and a really dense beanbag for them. I've managed to obtain a mishmash of beanbags for them now but would really like to have a good classroom carpet to complete a new comfortable safe space to read. The other rug was just too damaged to be used anymore.

I really appreciate your support to help build this safe haven. Thank you!
