My Project

Our students frequently struggle with self-regulation during the day. They find themselves overwhelmed by academic tasks, by interactions with their peers, and by the influences of their lives outside of the classroom. Our team would like to create a space within the resource room where students can safely work through their emotions and learn the techniques to self-regulate.

Our students need a safe space to comfortably deescalate, to regulate their emotions, and to build the skills to maintain their emotional health.

We need a comfortable place to sit with a rug and floor cushions, and books that students can use to learn about their physical and mental health.
