My Project

Our school community is characterized by its diversity, with approximately 3600 students who speak over 67 different languages. For many of our students who have recently relocated from other countries, access to basic necessities, such as food and nourishment is crucial in maintaining their daily focus. Unfortunately, many of the students I work with face uncertainty about their next meal which is a significant distraction from their academic pursuits.

Research consistently shows that not being hungry, meaning having access to adequate nutrition, significantly improves school performance by enhancing concentration, memory, and overall cognitive function, which are crucial for learning.

With studies indicating that children experiencing hunger tend to have lower grades and poorer academic outcomes compared to their well-nourished peers; essentially, a full stomach leads to better focus and learning abilities in the classroom.

Your support and donation would greatly assist in alleviating this concern, enabling our students to focus on their long-term goals and education.
