My Project

Help me give my students a learning environment that optimizes engagement while providing the additional support my kiddos need! We will do lots of fun moving and dancing but a special and defined space just for them will help provide my students the support they need for attending and maximum engagement!

Please help me in creating the best possible sensory friendly learning scenario for my students!

I would love to create a safe ball pit area for my students to use to relax and decompress. The peapod sensory chair is a cozy place to land that provides the compression input some of my kiddos are constantly seeking. Our school is in an old building, and a space heater and air fresheners will help keep the environment warm and comfortable for them. Loud noises can be very startling for some of my noise sensitive kiddos and the noise cancelling earbuds will help them stay calm and focused. The swing and slide are to help my sensory seeking kiddos get the input they need to mitigate a potential meltdown and be able to return to class. I can’t wait to help my little ones move their bodies and regulate their minds in a safe and fun space!
