Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students need to feel comfortable when learning so they can focus their attention on the content and material. At an early age, students are in a valuable position to gain financial skills to carry with them throughout life. Many studies show that there is a strong connection between financial literacy and financial well-being long term. This table will be used to provide financial literacy lessons in a small group setting with the goal of increasing engagement and retention of content. Many students, especially those in the inner city lack the financial literacy skills and opportunity to learn these skills.
