My Project

In our STEM class our engineers create the most amazing projects, but, we are so limited to designs because we only have scissors to cut with. Using other tools would not be safe for students, so, designs are usually basic shapes with jagged edges because kid scissors can only do so much. Even with scissors, cutting cardboard is not easy for students.

With the Chomp saw, students can safely cut intricate designs in cardboard to create new designs that live up to their creativity.

A simple tool can really enhance engagement and push students to think out of the box. I envision students creating scaled monuments that will allow them to become junior architects and designing prosthetics to replicate real world ideas. The possibilities really are endless and I'm so excited to see what my students will create.
