This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These high quality mats will enhance the safety for my basketball/soccer teams. They will enable my players/students to move around more and utilize more space in the gym area - so we don’t have to go outside and practice during the cold winter. They will allow for players/students to engage in activities that require them to start and stop quickly, as the pads do not slide across the gym floor. They can also be put up against the walls which will keep players/students safer and reduce the risk of injury.
