Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Specially designed instruction is not just jargon that refers to strategies you come across on teacher blogs every now and then. It is the perpetual art of designing a realm where your students thrive to the fullest. My students in truth are no different than yours; amazing, curious and full of potential. This year my students will again immense odds simply to participate in an education they are owed by birthrite. This year they need a classroom that contains furniture that both fits in a small space, but opens them up to a larger world of instruction, discussion, fun and wonder. Collapsible tables and vertical storage units will be key to giving my students the equitable, spatially appropriate and seamlessly integrated lessons they need and deserve.. THANK YOU!!

My Project

The two collapsible folding tables will massively impact the learning potential of my amazing students. As our special needs students return to their classrooms, we can ensure that we are optimizing the spatial reality that the pandemic has created. Students can transition from mini lesson activity, to group work, to discussion work to independent work seamlessly by transforming the floor beneath them into an open floor kinesthetic activity or a conference room with collapsible round tables for a myriad of different enrichment activities. This kind of flexible furniture will benefit both student learning outcomes and overall safety in our community.
