My Students

Hello! My name is Bree Williams and I teach the world's kindest kindergarteners! I teach both typical learners and special education students. Despite their challenges, my students are incredible hard workers! They require an abundance of hands-on materials to make learning come to life!! We are so grateful for your support!

My Project

My students haven't been in face to face school since March. Once we return to the school building we will have strict rules to follow to stay safe and healthy. By helping my classroom receive these materials you will be giving my students the opportunity to learn safely through play. All of the materials on the list can be sanitized for safe learning. We are excited to use the alphabet tracing mats, and the counting manipulatives. The letter sound games will be helpful in our small groups!

Kindergarten students learn best through hands on play!

Imagine a group of students, seated 6 feet apart on the FlexSpace Comfy Seats floor cushions, using hands on academic toys like the Lakeshore Magnetic letters and Numbers, that can be cleaned and sanitized after each child. Can you image the laughter and joy that comes when children learn through playing with items such as the Kwik Sticks Tempera paint? Can you imagine the connections that students will make using materials like the Lakeshore Apple Tree Counting Set?

Until we return to school face to face, the gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers will help me find teaching resources that are digital. Since going remote, teachers have had to reinvent the wheel and spend countless hours creating digital lessons that are also engaging. There are digital lessons on Teachers Pay Teachers but that cost can be expensive. The $100 gift card will help me purchases digital materials to help instruct my students while we are remote.
