My Students

Our student body consists of 72 percent African American students and all of our students receive free school lunch. Students at my school are driven to succeed, but sometimes lack the necessary resources to get where they want to be.

My Project

These items will be implemented to eliminate sharing of materials and to help with regular disinfecting. The schools are very limited on what they can provide with many items being out of stock. This leaves it up to us to find these materials in order to have practice over the summer.

In this time of uncertainty, we must take every precaution to ensure student safety when returning to band and athletics.

Lyres and flip folders ensure that each student has their own set of music and they are not sharing.

Mr. King Shaw High School Grades 9-12
