Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are wonderful, creative, amazing human beings. We all live in the same town and are so proud of our city and the school family we have at NSW. I have curious learners who spend their days immersed in thoughtful and inquisitive learning. Third grade is an amazing time for growth and I am so proud to see my students transition from timid second graders to full on independent learners in a matter of months. I am also in admiration of everything they continue to teach me.

My Project

As we enter into a new normal in the education world, students want to feel safe and protected. I want to make our classroom routines as safe as possible for them by providing them with a more personalized way to store their belongings. This will help them smoothly transition back into a socially distanced classroom and feel organized and prepared. The days of sharing cubbies, group tables, and desks are gone for now. Please help make this possible for them as they embark on this new journey in their learning.
