Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the end of the year rapidly approaches, I am trying to get ready to end the school year on a good note. My students have worked very hard all year and I want to make summer bags full of fun as a token of appreciation for their hard work. This summer bags will provide students with access to some summer items that will evoke excitement, safety and joy!

The bags will include a beach towel, sunscreen lotion, sunglasses, lip balm, a cap, a hairbrush, and some summer toys, such as bubbles, a beach ball, and a beach bucket.

These items may not seem important, but for my students they provide a feeling of joy and confidence. I will also get snacks and juices to include in these summer bags as well as a note from me congratulating them on all their progress and wishing them a fabulously fun and safe summer break.

I invite you to be a part of something that not only provides students with essential summertime items but also fosters a safe and fun summer break!
