My Students

We are a second grade class in a predominantly low-income neighborhood in Philadelphia. My students are also predominantly African-American.

My students are super smart, super hard working, and super silly!

These students have not been in-person for school since March 2020 and I can't wait for them to be back!

My Project

I am now in a new school with a new classroom and I want to make sure my students stay safe with their own individual materials. I also want to make sure that my students feel comfortable as if they are home.

In-person learning is back and we want to stay as safe and possible.

In my cart are organizational items that will help keep materials separate. This helps build student independence when getting materials, as well as making materials easier to sanitize. Because I am transitioning into a new school, I am starting from scratch with a lot of my organizational supplies.
