My Project

A classroom learning environment really benefits from having a carpet. Carpets are inviting and help contribute to the learning process in many ways. Carpets or rugs create a place where you can gather and connect with your students. If we had a carpet in our classroom, we could provide our students with a sense of comfort and safety.

Working with children with special Needs, I feel like connecting with them on the carpet, helps them engage during lessons and provides a sense of comfort.

Rugs in a classroom can also establish boundaries, as well as soften acoustics in your room. They can help with children who learn in different ways, especially with engaging in a story or read aloud. Rugs also improve air quality in a classroom. They trap air particles from the air so they do not circulate and get into your lungs.
