This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello Reader! I teach a beautiful and enthusiastic class of 18 first-grade students who are all so unique in their own special way. Anything you can provide would be greatly appreciated and very valued in our space!

My first-grade students would greatly benefit from a cozy rug to gather on during our morning meetings and engaging read-aloud sessions.

A comfortable space like this would not only foster a sense of togetherness but also create an inviting environment for active participation and learning. Pencils and dry-erase markers are essential tools for our young learners. With a steady supply of these writing instruments, our students can confidently engage in interactive activities, practice writing, and express their ideas effectively during our discussions and learning exercises. Additionally, providing snacks for our students when they're hungry before lunchtime is crucial for maintaining their energy and focus. A nutritious snack would ensure that hunger doesn't distract them from their studies, allowing them to make the most of their morning sessions.

Your generous support in providing these resources will enhance our classroom experience, promote a love for learning, and create a nurturing space where our students can thrive. Together, we can empower these young minds to reach their full potential!
