My Students
My students are an eager bunch who come from diverse backgrounds. They come to school with big smiles on their faces and are excited to learn something new every day! They've proven resilient in the face of changes to their education due to Covid-19.
However, our classroom is in need of some updates in order to stay safe and socially distant.
My Project
Most of our lessons happen in our Meeting Area. We currently have a rug but it's old.
This new rug will help the children know exactly where to sit as each student will get a dot to cover (sit on)!
This particular group of students respond very well to visual cues which is why we know this rug would be perfect for our classroom.
It's difficult for little ones to constantly remember that they have to remain socially distanced from their peers. This rug will help them do this, therefore, they will be able to focus on the lesson being taught!
