My Students

Imagine how high scholars can soar when given focused, fun and data driven instruction. To see this vision come to fruition, I work days nights and weekends to create in-class materials so students can reach their goals. The items I am asking for will make it much easier to give them what they need.

Every year, my four year olds are full of energy and ready to learn.

When they come in each morning, they know that the classroom is a safe place where they will get a healthy meal, a friendly environment and so much knowledge. The curriculum that we use is designed to close the achievement gap. It challenges the scholars but also let's me watch them do things that I didn't know a four year old brain was capable of. My school is a first year independent school and we are ready to welcome this year's Pre-k students into a school community that understands the importance of starting with our younger scholars. We know that it makes a big impact to their future, and the future leaders that they will become.

My Project

For this project I am requesting one Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 500 Silver Edition SVGA 2600 Lumens HDMI Projector, one Cricut Explore Electronic Cutting Machine with Cricut Design Space Free Online Software, one Apache AL18P 18" Professional Laminator and 3 Mil Double Letter Laminating Pouches, one Seville Classics Heavy-Duty Office Utility File Cart, and SquareTrade 3-Year Home AV Protection Plan. On any given day we will use each of the items I have requested. We use laminated sheets and dry erase markers to practice number writing. We can use the Epson projector (housed on the utility cart) to watch interactive videos about phoneme elision. It gets the kids moving and learning all at once. We can display artwork on bulletin board that are clearly labeled using the Cricut.

These materials will help me improve my effectiveness in the classroom.

I can spend less time after hours and less out-of-pocket expenses, and still be able to provide top quality materials for my scholars, while also being able to spend more time on in class instruction and planning.
