All of my kiddos are creative, thoughtful and always full of questions because they love learning! We all love hands-on, active, engaging projects that challenge and allow them to critically think to find solutions! Every day my kiddos come to school ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. They are truly, my reason to give each day my everything!
I want to give my kiddos a school experience that will create a magical love for learning for years.
Our school is amazing in that teachers are encouraged to find unique and out of the box ways to engage our students. Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best may vary greatly.
Being that I am only a second year teacher, I want to always be able to incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, alternative seating, and learning options to ensure that each kiddo's needs are met, right where they are! They are always a truly incredible group, and I am so lucky and blessed to have a new set of kiddos every single year!
My Project
Each month in kindergarten I like to focus on a theme. I use this theme to generate learning memories! I have have that students learn best through experiences. To create the most amazing learning experiences possible, I transform my room. This project will allow my kiddos to enter a room that optimizes their learning experience. These items will be used to help me create amazing room transformations for learning memories that will last a lifetime!
This project will allow for reimagined classroom features that go beyond just the physical and logical connectivity and will change the ways my students learn – and I get to teach.
Being able to provide this kind of learning space allows the flexibility and capability to create personalized learning environments for my students of varying abilities and learning styles and will greatly expand opportunities for meaningful engagement, productive collaboration and higher achievement.
