Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The school where I teach is in the middle of two larger towns, which makes it a secluded area. In fact, a great majority of the students have not ventured out of their area. We are a Title I school that serves free breakfast and lunch to all students who attend. A huge majority of the students are English language learners (ELLs) and are either first or second generation Americans. This creates extra challenges to ensure that all students receive differentiated instruction to meet their needs.
The Ron Clark Academy House System is our ultimate professional development project!
Students who are involved in the House System learn teamwork and how to lift one another up to success. This is our first year and we are still learning and need supplies to continue growing as professionals.

We can help our school and district confidently implement processes that build character, relationships, and school spirit.
