My Project

Can't wait to start the year with a new group of kiddos that is ready to join my class. Last year I had the luxury of spending time with the incoming 3rd graders, and so many of them were asking me what 3rd grade is like, others had the special privilege of visiting my classroom. Through these small encounters, I got to know a few of these students and what gets them excited with learning. They truly love non-fiction texts, and love being hands on.

That is why this new whiteboard will be amazing.

With your help we will be able to get a new rolling whiteboard that can be used with whole group lessons on the rug and with small groups. Students will be able to display their understanding, manipulate the material we are learning, as well as hold on to all the awesome anchor charts that we create together as a class. During read aloud sessions it is right there for the students to be able to see, write, and practice the new vocabulary words that we are learning, and post up their thoughts and opinions from the lesson. Also the zipper pouches will help keep my students organized in their small groups and all the little supplies that are used around the classroom.
