Rolling With Newton's Laws of Motion

Help me give my students STEM Roller Coaster Kits and a bulletin board area to display pictures of their rollercoasters demonstrating Newton's Laws of Motion.

My Project

I want to start a new rollercoaster lab with my 8th-grade science students to help them engage and understand Newton's laws of motion. The lab will provide an immersive and hands-on learning experience for students, fostering their understanding of fundamental physics principles in a dynamic and engaging way. In tandem with the Roller Coaster Physics Lab, I seek funding for bulletin board materials that will showcase students' achievements, research findings, and the overall progress of the lab.

This innovative approach will enhance their conceptual grasp of physics and cultivate critical thinking skills and a passion for science.

The bulletin board will feature visually appealing graphics, student-created diagrams, and concise explanations of key physics principles explored in the lab. By sharing their discoveries and successes in a public forum, students will build confidence in their abilities and inspire their peers to engage more actively in STEM-related activities.
