Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach mild/mod special education. My students each have their own strengths and needs. The one thing they all agree on is that they love playing games. My students love it when I make learning fun and engaging. My students are very special because they can make a bad day good. Seeing their progress and growth makes teaching one of the best careers on the planet.

Learning math facts and building fluency isn't always easy for my students, but with the help of games, my students' knowledge is sure to grow.

These math games will help build my students' knowledge of their math facts and fluency by making learning fun. My students love to play board games and they love to get competitive. It has been hard to find good math board games. My goal for this project is to continue my students' love of math through games.
