This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"Children are not things to be moulded, but people to be unfolded." ~Jess Lair. Children are little people ready to discover the world, and I'm here to help them achieve the impossible! I challenge my students to reach to infinity and beyond!

My students are a diverse group of young children ready to discover the world!

My students love to go to school everyday, learn something new, and develop friendships! These young children are my heroes!

The magnitude of their learning is profound and these young minds need to be challenged on a daly basis! Their growth mindset inspires these youngsters to become active and positive members of our community. They love to create, explore, expand, and investigate. Thus, I take great pride in developing a positive classroom environment that will not only enrich their own learning, but build the child's power to change the world!

My Project

I am requesting six stability balls to be utilized during small group instruction. It is important to provide students with various different choices during the learning process. Students feel more comfortable when they have control of their own learning. Thus, providing flexible seating choices will help students take charge of their inquires and become completely engaged in the learning process.

Since all students learn differently, the stability exercise balls will provide students with the opportunity to learn in a fun manner with self-control.

We currently have regular desk chairs for the class; however, I would love to provide students with different selections during small group instruction where they can choose to sit on a chair, the floor, or use the stability balls. Students will take turns and learn how to responsibility utilize this flexible seating as a positive learning experience.

Young children need to be active in their learning at all times. With the help of the stability balls, students will be kinesthetically involved in their own active learning while inspiring their daily academic and social challenges.
