My Students

Students need to be in classrooms that inspire them. As an ESL teacher, I can bring the classroom to them. Whether they are in first grade or fifth. I am determined to give them the tools they require to have an amazing year.

Our school has a high poverty/low-income population, and I am hoping to give them the space where they can learn and grow to their full potential.

I want to be able to build relationships with them, in a healthy and comfortable surrounding, that belongs to them. These students need a safe place that they can move, create, learn, and achieve in.

When they walk into our new classroom, I want them to feel safe and know that I have taken care of the "small stuff," and now we can focus on our learning.

My Project

I teach students from Kindergarten to fifth grade and these read alouds will help ALL of my students to understand the struggles of those who came before them. They will be able to picture what it was like and better understand the mountains that others before them overcame.

With these books, my students will be able to make "Good Friends" with the real-life heroes they will read about.

My students will see real people that they will hopefully try to emulate in their own lives.

With this rich variety of real-life stories I hope that my students will find one that will inspire them to do better and be better in their own life story.
