Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year 7th graders have to write a research paper in ELA. Trying to make this a more creative and inspiring experience, students get to choose a ROLE MODEL as the topic to research.

Middle schoolers need great role models- that look like them!

But sometimes it can be a struggle for students to identify positive people to identify with or in history that inspire them.

Having a wide variety of names and stories for students to choose from that reflect the demographic of our community will be HUGE in helping to motivate and inspire them in their research this year!
