Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are amazing and hard working! They come to school everyday eager to learn and especially LOVE to read! In this time of a pandemic crisis, it is even more crucial that we have an array of books to choose from to continue their growth. These students have suffered so much during this difficult time, not having been in a classroom in 6 months and having the opportunity to put their nose into a new book will help them tremendously!

My Project

These books will continue to enhance the reading in our classroom. The classroom library is a place that our students really enjoy! They look forward to borrowing new books and using their imagination as they page through the amazing stories. Every student book that is placed in our library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. These books will help those students of upper reading levels to continue to practice their skills. I can’t wait for my students to be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time and stretch their love of reading!!
