With a variety of literacy supplies we are working on building our reading skills in small group reading time. My second graders are working towards becoming fluent readers and comprehending basic literature. Differentiated materials like the sight word games and flash cards will allow me to work with students on different levels.
We are also requesting new STEM building materials to use at the end of the day on Fridays.
The new classroom Lenovo tablet will be a great addition to our technology library, students can take turns working on math or reading BOOM cards or their online supported curriculum. We are so thankful to be able to request so many new materials to support our learning in the classroom.
