Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When playing my students love to use science to explore their environment. When we think about science, we ask our student questions about our environment. Our students love to pretend play and the lab coats a wonderful way to dress up.

My goal for this project is for my students to have tools to access science curriculum.

The boxes will be a great tool to organize the science materials when the students are done playing. In addition, they will be practicing math concepts when they organize the science tools in the box. The pouches will be used to facilitate home and school connection. The children will be able to take the pouches home with science materials. In conclusion they will engage in pretend/symbolic play that supports their social emotional growth.
