My Students

It is the start of a brand new school year! I will have 22 little kindergarteners joining me in a safe and fun learning experience this year. Kindergarten is a great year of making new friends, learning something new each day, and exploring various materials and activities that are engaging. One thing for sure I know my kinders absolutely LOVE is going to centers. The majority of my students love to spend time in the kitchen area. Centers are a great way for students to socialize and meet new friends. They get to explore and create and have a sense of “free play” without having the demands of a teacher : ). So today I am asking to build more items in my kitchen/center area so my students can get a great sense of socializing and playing together as a team!

My Project

In kindergarten, we love center time! During centers students really get to have a sense of freedom and learn from one another through socialization without the direct demands of teachers! My students all love going to the kitchen area where they love to pretend to play “house.” I am in need of a little upgrade to my kitchen area where my students can explore more and pretend as they so love to do with new and more familiar items that they may also see at home! Especially in these times of Covid where there may not have been much socialization having centers is so important for my little learners and these new items will definitely help one another get acclimated!
