My Students

Our school corporation is a rural district, trying to equip our students with the skills and experiences to be successful in our ever-changing world. I have the privilege to teach first grade, in our small rural district.

My first grade students are excited about the world around them.

As their teacher, it is my goal to create opportunities to make them curious about the world around them. My goal is to empower them to ask questions and find answers. My students are world changers.

My Project

I am requesting Jimu robots, snap circuits, and reference books to use during our weekly STEM time. Our classroom thrives on learning projects where students can experience reflective opportunities to fail. They think, learn, and try again. And while the design of the robots are simple, it can be expanded upon in essentially unlimited ways. We have the technology to use Blockly to program and code our robots to pose, dance, and lift materials. I'm sure my students would also love to code the robots to do their homework!

We LOVE learning and would love the opportunity to use these robots in our classroom.

We would also love to use the reference books to learn about robotics and successful ways to program and code. Thank you for your support!
