My Students

Our school proudly represents an international community that speaks many languages and represents many cultures. Our multicultural mosaic gives our school a global perspective with high expectations for academic success. The students are highly motivated; the families of these children expect a guarantee of success. To assure the children's academic success, it is vital to provide only the best resources possible.

Students can only achieve if they have the necessary tools to do so.

The families of our children have sacrificed much to be in this country and the children hope to fulfill their families' dreams for success. For that reason, we try to bring the best resources to our students in the hopes of realizing high expectations that will lay a foundation for future opportunities.

My Project

We live in a world where students just hit a button to listen to a song on an app or on an iPod. As a child, I remember the joy I felt carefully placing a record player onto the spinner and lifting the arm to place it on the record. The anticipation I felt was palpable. I want my students to experience the 'old fashioned' way music was listened to. I want to introduce them to all genres of music as they create their art masterpieces. I want my students to make connections not just visually through art but using all of their senses. I believe my students will have a richer, more diverse experience, which is super important in their development as individuals.
