This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My music classroom is a challenging and fun place to be. This year, I started in a new school, where I teach all elementary students and middle school choir. My students are so excited to come to music every week to enjoy the class, play instruments, and perform since they were limited from this privilege for many years ago.

My students are clever, passionate, hopeful, and creative!

As a new music teacher in this school, I am having the great pleasure of introducing my students to a new experience. They get to play instruments they have not seen before and enjoy from a different environment that has been a little difficult due to the space in my classroom. We have some limited space in the school to keep our instruments in a safe place, and some of them are getting damaged. Therefore, we would love to get some Orff instruments and stands that will be also comfortable for the students to play.

My Project

My students are so engage in the music program that they get to play and perform a lot during the school year. Therefore, they are some items that we need to replace because they get broken or lost in the everyday.

We love to keep our music classroom neat, clean, and care for our instruments!

The items in this project are for replacing picks for ukuleles, stands for the ORFF expensive instruments, covers to keep our keyboards without dust, cases for our instruments to be transported from our school to the auditorium for the several shows in the school year, and more brass instruments to give the chance to more students to be part of the modern band program.
