My Students

My students actively participate in a rock band program. Our "school of rock" is active, vibrant, and extremely talented. These students are basically professional musicians that sound like recording artists. They have been impacted by Covid by not being able to perform their numbers to the public. They have pushed through Covid by practicing their musical abilities and maintaining the integrity of the band for the past couple of years.

My Project

The resources will ultimately enhance the stage performances for the students at this school. Our drums cannot be heard very well at the moment, and the new cymbals will assist in that volume. We have various performances planned in the future, and a low fogger would significantly enhance the student's performances in the auditorium.

Imagine Jack Black's "School of Rock" but in a more realistic setting, and taught within an actual classroom setting instead of an after school club.

These students have practiced hard to maintain an outstanding professional sound and have pushed through Covid restrictions to keep a performance based class alive. These additional resources will greatly help their performances that they have fought hard to play in after almost two years of not being able to.
