Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our readers are in need of some fresh new reads! Students will be flooding back into their school library soon looking for what's new to check out from their library!

Our students are in two categories: voracious readers or future voracious readers.

To meet their reading needs and desires, we need more brand new, bestselling, irresistible books to quench the demand of our voracious readers. Through student surveys, our students' interests were gathered and used to create this impressive wish list directly from the students' own reading hopes. Students will be informed when their books arrive and participate in reading discussions with others. This project transcends our book club, classroom discussions, as we involve every interested student in literacy events and programs surrounding these new books.
