Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our classroom environment is set up to support my learners needs; they enjoy flex seating, rug time, breaks, and digital supports. Our classroom supports their autonomy- they can read on the rug, on a stool, on a bean bag or soft seat, and are awarded time in our classroom tent.

My cool kids are students with learning differences; Many have behavioral management and language needs.

My learners' reading level range from Level D to Level R. They yearn for High interest text and a wider variety of options for our independent reading and book club activities.

My Project

Learners in this classroom vary in reading levels. Because of this, we need a very diverse library with titles that support their independence as well as their identity. With all assessments completed, We now know where they are and where they need to LITERALLY and LITERARILY can aim to be.

We must continue to build our love of reading through text diversity and options.

We can only do that via having options. We have collectively selected these text to add to our classroom library. Thank you for supporting out classroom.
