Help me give my students the best first year of their academic journey with a tabletop light panel and a sand water table. I believe in creating an environment that fosters a love for learning at this age.

My Project

They are so free and full of life. I also love their eagerness to learn new things while using their background knowledge. So for that reason alone, I should never settle on not getting or giving them the best. I chose these materials because each item will facilitate learning for the student's developmental growth. For example, the water table will not only get them acclimated to defining water but also with the science/mathematics behind it. The table light panel is perfect for when the students begin to learn all about light. Teaching about opaque, translucent, and transparent items has the potential to be a fun lesson with this light panel. Do you mean to tell me that I can use ice cream scoops to teach math? Apparently, yes. Who doesn't love ice cream? The counting cones will help children develop an understanding of cardinality. The colors and everything else fun about it will be a hit.

The idea of building or creating something beautiful is what drives them.

I can fit teachable moments throughout their entire process of construction. The wooden blocks and mosaic magnetic designer will help students develop vocabulary, and hand-eye coordination, improve math skills and understand space, balance, and gravity. Lastly, the alphabet stamps are great for the writing center. The letter stamps encourage letter recognition and can be a great pre-writing activity. This project will help the students gain access to quality education. So, please help me give my students the tools they need to make in-depth, real-world connections. Have a hand in getting our future leaders ready.
